I often use my iPhone gps in the car and plugging and unplugging from the charger is inconvenient. My solution is to use the Apple Qi charger in a mount. The mount is held in place on the dashboard with nano tape, a double sided, removable tape. My design holds the iPhone in the protective case. If you accelerate quickly, the iPhone can fall out but that is fixed by adding a MagSafe metal ring to the case. The print does not need supports and curling is avoided by not having a large, continuous surface on the print bed.
