I’m really excited to present this project to effectively create a virtual lumberyard; one from which you can realize your virtual wood construction dreams and prints. I see a lot of great wood items you can obtain online, but nothing quite like this. This lumber project was something I came up with while planning a 3D design for farmhouse terrain in a board game. I simply didn't want to remix other people's completed wood creations, just to obtain wood planks for building. Armed with these wood planks you can build and print your own woodworking designs. Create and print that dream deck you’ve been wanting for your home; a cabin, furniture, or something as simple as a rustic wood floor design. Now you can do it without cutting out wood pieces from other designs and remixing. When you get this set, you will have access to 6 unique, 8' boards in each of the following dimensions. 2x4", 2x6, 2x8", 4x4", 2x2", and 1x2.” I intend to add more at other standard lengths, and even precut studs for 8, 10, and 10' ceilings. As I add new wood planks and other components customers will automatically be notified of updates and will be able to download them at no extra cost. The current scale for each plank is 1mm = 1" so each 8' board is 96mm in length. The 2nd pic shows my test print of each board size. While I haven't painted them yet, you can easily see the grain detail In addition to designing each plank's wood grain to appear realistic at scale, NONE of these boards were just stretched or compressed versions of another board. Each has it's own unique look. There are actually two sets of these boards provided here, meaning that there are actually 12 of each size; not just 6. One set is labeled HD for higher detail . These boards have added irregularities along the side edges. As your woodworking project expands, you might see some slowdown as you add more and more wood due to all the polygons. This is why I also have a set with lower detail (LD) - . That set doesn't include the side edge irregularities
