David el Gnomo

David, Thym from Upsala’s son, is 399 years old, 15 cms height. David is a doctor who uses his knowledge of many fields, such as hypnosis and acupuncture, to heal his patients, usually animals. David is the main character of the cartoon series “David el Gnomo” which was produced by the BRB International company. The design of David was highly inspired from illustrations of “Leven en werken van de Kabouter” (1976), drawn by Rien Poortvliet. Spanish channel TVE1 broadcast the series for the first time in 1985.
