This mask is a simple yet robust design with interchangeable filters. The total printing time on an average printer should be under 8 hours. I used multiple layers of cotton and carbon filter discs to create the filters, which can accommodate standard 35mm thread disc filter cartridges. To assemble the mask, superglue the nose piece into the body. I also applied clear lacquer to seal the interior walls for a smooth finish. The hooks should be attached with superglue or epoxy at least 1/4 inch away from the edge to prevent strap irritation on the skin. For a secure fit, attach a liner of flexible rubber or foam along the inside edges. If using silicone rubber, make sure it cures fully to avoid any skin reactions.
