Mount your differential IR sensor directly onto your Wanhao i3 and cast a spotlight on your nozzle. This mount seamlessly integrates into the front of the i3, replacing the original partcooling fan. Don't forget to install a rear-mounted partcooling fan for optimal performance. The probe-offset is approximately X0.0 Y-33.0. Secure the probe in place using 2 M2-2.5 screws. Then, attach 3 LED strips to the back of the mount and shine them directly onto your nozzle. Print Settings: Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2 Infill: 10-50% Notes: Print upside down as shown on thingiverse. The side with the face facing downwards should be at the bottom during printing. Unfortunately, I'm still figuring out how to export parts from Autodesk Fusion 360 in the correct orientation.
