So Joel (the 3d printing nerd on YouTube) made this with Simplify3d in mind allowing for it to be printed with out removing it from the print bed while changing filament as I use maker-bot desktop on a ctc printer and haven't bought simplify3d (too expensive) I have remixed it and split it into 3 separate models that I printed out and glued together ----------UPDATE TO THIS THING---------- I Have now added 50mm wide models and the black piece with the eye holes now has a tab with a hole on it so when you glue the three parts together you get a key-fob Print Settings Printer: CTC duel extruder Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: 10 % Notes: printed in PLA at 200c straight onto an unheated glass bed with hairspray to fix it also resized the model to 50 mm in the x and y axis in makerbot desktop (the actual model is 124mm) How I Designed This I remixed it by chopping the original up in tinker cad original Thing can be found here http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1323005 with a video showing exactly how to do a multicolour print without removing it from the bed using simplify3d
