big update: i have revised the whole model, there is much more space inside and the leds are now operated with a 9V block. The following components are required: 7x 5mm leds 1x 7.5kOhm resistor 1x 680 ohm resistor 1x toggle switch on-off 1x 9V battery with connection clip 2x 10x5mm magnets 2x M5x20mm countersunk screw 2x melt-in thread M5 The magnets are glued into the lower half, the melting threads into the upper half. The tranch is glued to the top half the 6 leds in the trench have a resistance of 680 ohms, the led for the weapon has a resistance of 7.7 kohms the death star is printed in pla+ the tranch in petg transparent i printed the tranch with 2 walls and 0% infill, the resulting cavity acts like a diffuser that spreads the light better for the holder we need a rod with 3x150mm, parts printed in ABS. extension update 30.12.2022: I modified the light band to fit an Adafruit trinket and a WS2812 strip. The Strip is a 144LED/meter and 17 pieces fit. The weapon's LED is also now controlled via the trinket. With the button (12x12mm) you can switch between 3 light modes. 1. Steady light 2. Steady light in band plus weapon fire every 5 seconds 3. Circumferential red dot in the band plus weapon fire. I also attached the scatch. https://youtu.be/ACuxAJdObA8 https://youtu.be/eV1o9UJfTeE Update 31.12.2022. I have updated the trinket tranch. the contact surface for the led strip is enlarged and the switch and button are embedded deeper so that the 9V block fits better in the lower shell the scatch was minimally optimized
