Death Star Laser Turret

Designed for use with X Wing miniatures game. Print Settings Printer Brand: Ultimaker Printer: Ultimaker 2 Rafts: Yes Supports: No Notes: Originally printed in three stages. First print was just the two main turret parts. The second print was just the two gun gears and the third print was the gun barrells and muzzles. I only used a raft for the third print as the surface area of the gun barrels and muzzles on the bed is fairly small. I printed in PLA and set a layer thickness of 0.1mm. I increased the top and bottom layer to 0.8mm and decreased the nozzle temperature to 200C. These were primarily to prevent cushioning on the top surface. I didn't use any supports for the hole in the base of the top part of the turret. It was a little messy, but cleaned up okay and didn't impact on the movement of the parts.
