Death Star Wall Panel Lamp

This is a small decoration lamp for your desk. It's side panels are supposed to like the Death Star's wall panels.

Inside are 80 Neopixels (100 LEDs per meter), an Arduino Nano Every and Adafruit's VL53L0X board.

You can change the brightness, colors and modes by using the Force. Alternatively you can use gestures - for that purpose I have included Adafruit's VL53L0X board in the top of the lamp.

You will have to print:

1x Base.stl

1x Top.stl

4x Panel.stl

4x Sidebar.stl

4x Diffusor.stl (print in white)

I tried to keep the lamp quite small, so there is not much space for the necessary cables to connect the neopixels. To make soldering easier, I have included the SolderHelper.stl. Stick it on the sticky side of some blue painters tape and use it to place the neopixel strips.

You will need:

16x strips consisting of 4 Neopixels

8x strips consisting of 2 Neopixels

If you like the model, I might write a guide on how to wire everything and even upload my firmware. Just let me know :)

Happy printing!
