Decade resistance box for smaller thumbwheels/pushwheels
thingiverse
Figured I'd give DesignSpark a shot, see how it would treat me. Onto the project. The thumbwheels I got were a bit smaller than any others I'd seen here, so I designed a new box to fit them. My thumbwheels measure 8.00mm x 16.10mm (not including flange). I printed the first layer slow at 15mm/sec just to get the detail of the raised letters right. No supports were needed. I printed at .22 layer height, but anything will work. There are many thumbwheels out there with varying sizes, so make sure you get the right one. Use 2.5mm or 3mm (tighter fit and recommended) x 6-8mm (or longer) screws. I used banana jacks with flats to clock the jacks, so you may need to slightly open up the box if your jacks are perfectly round or just force it through.
