Deckel SO flute grinder
Deckel SO is a single lip cutter grinder, but this attachment allows precise grinding of end mills flutes. Up to 3/4" end-mills can have the flutes re-ground with a full adjustment to the bevel angles.
The spindle and the housing are lapped for a close fit (rotation accuracy is important!) and felt seals keep the dust away.
To increase the range of the Deckel collets, I made an adapter for ER collets. This allows me to hold metric and odd sized end-mills as well (my Deckel FP collet set is imperial)
