Decorated Water Bowls

Here are four decorated water bowls sized for cats. They are easily scaleable to suit smaller and larger animals. The openSCAD code is parametric - parameters are: the bowl diameter in mm, the bottom thickness. the height of the rim, and the rim thickness. One can choose one of four decoration for the bottom; the decorations expand and contract to fit the size of the bowl. The images comes from MaakMijnldee's cookie cutter collection - thing:35495. Dxf_files.zip holds the images and needs to be expanded and available when running the openSCAD code. Images of the decorations are shown at the upper left. Instructions The bowls are all 100 mm in diameter with a 25 mm rim. The bottom is 3 mm thick and the rim 2.5 mm thick. Decorations are 1 mm indentations. The four bowls are: bowl_cat_p4.stl bowl_cat_pmm.stl bowl_fish_px.stl bowl_shark_p6m.stl The bowls were printed directly on the build surface to minimize warping. On my Replicator they print in just under 3 hours using 10 percent infill and 2 shells.
