One of the instructors at the kung fu studio where I train gives out ornaments each year. We recently had a seminar about the twin gim (a chinese straight sword), and so she wanted to give out ornaments in the shape of that weapon. Enter the 3D-Printer! I whipped up a model in Blender and made a few for her, then figured that I'd share it with you guys, too! I printed it with no supports, but I used the split gim model and then glued the two halves together. I included the whole gim as well, in case anyone wants to use it for something else or just print it at a different orientation. Big thanks to my instructor for the amazing painting and fabric enhancements! As always, the .blend file for this model is available to my patrons; here's a link to the post about this model: https://www.patreon.com/posts/23177298
