Decorative top piece for The Tudor Rose Box

The lid for my print of loubie's Tudor Rose Box had a little flaw (a rather distracting imprint of a masking tape join) so I made a decorative topper cover it up. loubie's piece is historically accurate in that Tudor period furnishings tended to have a very plain top surface and ornamentation was limited to the side panels. I've borrowed loubie's four-pointed star for the top to better tie in with the design of the box. You could add another rose to the top but I think understated works better in this case. Instructions Printed in PLA 0.2mm layers 15% infill 70mm/s extrude 140mm/s travel To get the "gilt" look I printed my pieces in black and then sprayed each piece with hairspray to make it a little sticky, then used gold pigment powder and a dry brush to dab gold all over the surface. After that I sealed it with clear acrylic spray top coat.
