Defiant Wings 63 GoPro Session Mount

This is a GoPro Session mount for the Defiant 63 from Defiant Wings (https://www.defiantwings.com/wings/defiant-63). It is meant to be printed from TPU so that the FPV camera hatch is flexible. Credit for this design goes to Justin Cumming and Adam Proulx. I basically made this just like their Defiant 42 mount but sized to fit the center section of the Defiant 63. I started the part from scratch, but all credit for creativity and concept goes to them. In order to install this, you are going to want to cut your slot 100m wide and 40mm back from the leading edge of the center section. The mount is designed to extend a bit from the nose to protect things (see the second picture: the part marked in red is where the foam will be, there's a pretty clear edge in the print), but if you cut 40mm back, it will match the airfoil perfectly. I recommend Goop to hold it in place, and be careful not to put any where the hatch will be so you don't lock that down. I exported 3 different versions to fit different FPV camera lenses. The 16mm will fit a RunCam Eagle 2 Pro (which is what I fly and tested with) snugly, the 17mm should fit a Foxeer Monster or similar, and there's an 18mm lens hole for even bigger lenses. There's a little wiggle room to either side of the FPV camera to help it install easier and fit a wide range of cameras. A couple drops of hot glue will keep it from moving. There's also a plug designed to snap into the mount in case you want to fly without risking your Session. It has slots in it to hold the Hangar 9 1/4oz. iron weights that seem to be the standard now (you will have to peel off the sticky backing, which is a pain, but once you do that they will be a very snug fit in the mount and won't come out). On my printer, if I print at 75% infill, six weights makes the plug exactly 73g (same as the Session). The plug should hold securely enough to not need a strap to hold in, but you can use one if you're the belt-and-suspenders type. If you're not able or don't want to print this, Shawn at Defiant Wings will also be offering them for sale on his store, so that's an option, too. Sorry the pictures didn't come out so great with the clear filament. Any other issues, let me know. Enjoy, folks!
