Dehavilland Vampire Instrument Panel

Dehavilland Vampire Instrument Panel

NOTE: Updated with 2 versions. This is my first design made in Fusion360. It is a scale instrument panel based on a picture of a vintage DeHavilland Vampire DH100 model late WW2 fighter jet. I have printed a couple copies of it at about 2 and 3 inch across, but would be easier to print for larger models. It is designed for adding the instrument faces later, using a laser printer and mounting behind or inserting into the holes. To add gauges I find images of gauges online, arrange them to various scale until I find an arrangement that fits, then print it out. I apply clear packing tape over the gauges to simulate glass. Then tape the sections of guage panel details behind the holes so the gauges show inside the holes. - version 1 is the DeHavilland Vampire simple panel alone without through-holes for all gauges - version 2 ('WITH SIGHT') is the DeHavilland Vampire panel with: through holes, panel hood, and snap-on gunnery sight
