Adapter for garden hose to .25" (7mm) ID vinyl irrigation tubing, used for dehumidifier. One side is a standard US female garden hose connector (1" / 25mm). The other side is a barbed vinyl hose connector, 7mm nominal inner diameter. Print with breakaway support inside the hose thread cavity, and be sure to clean out the support on the inner face to get a tight seal (I used a standard screwdriver blade to scrape around inside where the washer goes). Use a standard hose washer inside the threaded area to prevent leaks. For the clear tubing I bought the following at my hardware store: "UDP 1/4 in. I.D. x 3/8 in. O.D. x 10 ft. Clear Vinyl Tubing" Twisting the tubing gently back and forth while pushing on gave a tight seal with minimum fuss. While the barb base is reinforced it will break off if you bend too much. You can also use a hair drier to soften tubing before installing. My printer tends to run about 1-2% small. So if you find this loose shrink X & Y dimensions by 1% to 2% if needed. I've also added a cap piece. Thread it through the hose before putting the hose on the barbs. Then push it over the hose and hot-glue (or otherwise attach) the larger opening to the top of the dome on the main cap. that will provide mechanical protection against bending that might tend to rip the barb piece off the main cap if anything tugs on the hose.
