The Deinonychus, in simple terms, is one of the various types of raptor of the Cretaceous period. Often mistaken as a Velociraptor due to pop culture, the Deinonychus is actually taller than a Velociraptor, but shorter than the also famous Utahraptor. However, for us humble common folk, who cares about the differences? They all look awesome. I created this model with the goal of achieving a semi-realistic anthropomorphic/furry version of this historic beast. Though it was built with Quest in mind (hence some minor details such as the dew claw being missing), in practice it still ends up with Very Poor rating. However, it still technically does work, and for PC it is well optimized with a Good rating. In case you still don’t feel it’s optimized enough, there are several texture resolution sets from 512 to 4k in three different color schemes for your choosing. If you do not like the colors provided, the Substance Painter files are included to allow color changing to your heart’s content.
