Food can be a powerful motivator. Most of the time in the wrong direction. I wanted to create something that helped people that are trying to keep their fitness resolutions that would use food as a positive motivator. Pedometers are universally understood and easy to use for tracking daily activity. This incarnation is part of a system to motivate the individual for 4 weeks. The person can choose from a variety of fitness levels like beginner, seasoned, old pro, etc. Each level will require more exertion from the person before reaching a daily goal. The 4 snack packs come packaged with a pedometer module that is used in each of the snack packs in turn. The individual will pair the first snack pack with the pedometer module and begin the fitness routine. When they reach the daily goal, a motivational message is played via the integrated speaker and the individual is directed to rotate the outer dial for a healthy snack. Each snack pack contains 7 healthy and delicious snacks. The pedometer module will be removed from the first snack pack when all seven snacks are consumed and placed in the next snack pack prior to the next day of exercise. This product could be part of a promo starter pack for a natural food healthy snack company, wellness program for a large corporation, or just a retail purchase for getting back into a fitness regime. The snack pack has two distinct areas with the front and back halves but are 3D printed together and are never have to be assembled. The design incorporates an integrated ratcheting mechanism for satisfactory rotation feel, a belt clip for securing the pack for a workout, and a pedometer module that is also part of the print but can be removed. The pedometer module was designed with room on the face for a LCD screen and room behind for a speaker, pedometer electronics and a battery.
