Lowrider Belt Clamp & Tensioner for Square Nuts

Lowrider Belt Clamp & Tensioner for Square Nuts

A remix of Tailslide's belt tensioner & clamp for the lowrider CNC. I couldn't get an M3 bolt in the plastic to work, it just stripped out the threads. Tried a heat insert, but that was the same, as the inerts I had were too tall. Square nuts was the answer for me. It still uses a ziptie. Theres another remix thats redone the z tube mount to replace the ziptie with an M3 bolt, if I was starting again I'd print that, but since I'm nearly finished, this is the solution! Available for M3 and M4 square nuts, also requires the bit that sits on the belt from the original thing. UPDATE: The belt clearance was a little loose, so I have updated the model with one with a much tighter clamp as Mk2. (Purple print is the 'loose', blue print is the 'tight') I've only done this on the M3 model at this stage, if theres a wish for the M4 model to be update let me know and I'll adjust that one too. Note that what works for you will be a combo of your specific belt and printer calibration.
