DELL G15 Laptop legs

DELL G15 Laptop legs

thingiverse

This is a collection of legs I quickly designed to lift my new G15 dell gaming laptop up. It's usefull for airflow, typing angle and with the larger ones- giving you more desk space. They all print very quick, the final design is my favourite for recovering desk space for an external keyboard or room for a text book or whatever. The first two smaller leg design are only like 15mm high and 30mm I cant remember exactly, great to get those thermals undercontrol for cheap. The final legs print super fast with the top and bottom layers turned off (CHEP on youtube has a tutorial for this). This makes them weaker but theyre designed to easily hold the laptop up. Ive included all the stl files I used, some solidworks files for each leg design. I left one iteration out because it was too tall and very basic- a waste of time and material. To sum up, I'd recommend V2 design for a good lift but still usable keyboard angle, and I'd recommend V4 for desk optimisation or dual monitor setups.
