Dell Latitude 5580 Laptop Stand

My employer recently updated my laptop to a [Dell Latitude 5580](http://www.dell.com/dm/business/p/latitude-15-5580-laptop/pd). My previous laptop used the [Dell PRO2X Docking Station](https://www.amazon.com/Dell-Replicator-Docking-Station-Notebooks/dp/B004FVWAL2), which forced me to dock my laptop flat on my desk, using a lot of real estate. This new laptop uses a different [docking station](https://www.dell.com/en-us/shop/accessories/apd/452-bddu?cid=308990&st=&gclid=CjwKCAjwyrvaBRACEiwAcyuzRNPU0WzEfWaahjnFIqmmDZUWlzCSYCZ291zENANUpahLJTts1JXkdxoC1cYQAvD_BwE&lid=5841086&VEN1=sz8BIi6bF,54715087668,901pdb6671,c,,452-BDDU&VEN2=,&dgc=st&dgseg=dhs&acd=1230980731501410&VEN3=810104401622184806) that connects to the laptop with just a single USB Type-C cable. I designed this stand to store my 5580 vertically behind my monitor, which was unused space in the first place. ---- Although I designed this for the 5580, it should work with any laptop that is no wider than one inch when closed. For example, it fits my old Dell laptop as well. ---- Before I designed my own stand, I searched [Thingiverse](www.thingiverse.com) for stands already created by others. I found two. * I didn't like [this one](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2941306) because it uses a lot of plastic (about 2X my eventual design) and I didn't think that the curved legs would fit underneath my [monitor stand](https://smile.amazon.com/AmazonBasics-DHMSA-Adjustable-Monitor-Stand/dp/B00X4SCCFG) * I didn't like [that one](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2921922) because I don't have any 6 mm stainless steel rod lying around and, again, I didn't think that the curved legs would fit underneath my [monitor stand](https://smile.amazon.com/AmazonBasics-DHMSA-Adjustable-Monitor-Stand/dp/B00X4SCCFG)
