Turn your old Dell monitor stand into a headphone stand. Remove screws holding vesa plate, remove shroud, loosen spring, then remove bolt holding the adaptor. Some Dell monitor stands use a bolt, others have a pressed captive bolt, you will need to drill out the end to release. Use a hacksaw to remove tabs. This whole process sounds complicated but only takes 5 minutes. If your monitor has the thicker cast aluminum brackets you may need to adjust the slot size in the print.
