Dell PowerConnect 2724 Fan Duct

Dell PowerConnect 2724 Fan Duct

thingiverse

A duct that goes over the 40 mm fan and the main heatsink in a Dell PowerConnect 2724. The duct screws to the metal case using the original fan screws. The fan attaches to the duct using exterior mounting tape. I used this when I replaced the original loud fan with a much quieter fan. However, the quieter fan has lower airflow. The original fan runs on 5 V. Designed in Autodesk Inventor 2016 Student. Source files and STEP are provided.
