Pi's are to expensive, long live the thin client!!! I have been playing with these 5060s for a little bit, and while I'm sure what they were designed for, the passive cooling is more than enough. I always can use more cooling! 40 or 60mm fan options, with an adaptor if you would like. I have only printed the 60mm as that was what I ordered. The 60mm is overkill quite frankly, but it keeps it nice and cool under a stress test. I feel the 40mm would better fitted to it's cooling needs. Can say the shroud offers better cooling than a "fan laying on top". I tried about a half dozen different 60mm fans and narrowed in on this one. https://amzn.to/43HEp4x This ended up being the most quiet of the ones I tried. While I lost a little bit of cooling for the quieter fan, this is still plenty of cooling even under stress testing. Stress testing temps No fan, 70c after 6 minutes and still climbing. Loudest one 40c after 10 minutes, This one 45c after 10 minutes. Sits at 30c with normal running. Shroud clips into grates and will hold it's self on mounted in any direction.
