I picked up a Wyse think client to use as an alternative to a Raspberry Pi for running OctoPrint. Until I was sure I this device would meet my needs, I used only components I already had: a 4 GB SoDIMM to replace the 2 GB unit within, an external HDD, a D-Link USB 2.0 powered hub, and a Logitech webcam. Everything worked well, but I needed a smaller footprint for where this ensemble would be put to work.

This holder is designed to straddle the device with the dimensions of the external HDD and USB hub in mind. I've included the STEP file to allow for dimension change for your accessories.

Print Settings

Printer Brand:

Creality

Printer:

Ender 3

Rafts:

No

Supports:

Yes

Resolution:

0.2 mm

Infill:

15%

Filament: Any PETG, ABS, ASA, Nylon Any

Notes:

Print this on its side, with a brim, brim tabs, or a raft, for best adhesion and avoid warping. I did mine in PETG. If you decided to use PLA, the thin client does get hot and may cause the holder to sag over long hours or days of printing.
I've included the STEP and FreeCAD files to aid in adjusting dimensions to fit your accessories.

Category: 3D Printer Accessories
