DeLonghi KG89 Tray

<p>This is a <strong>tray for the DeLonghi KG89</strong> coffee grinder. The KG89 is a very messy grinder and each time you pull out or insert the container for the ground coffee it'll spill some coffee powder and mess up your kitchen.</p><p>This tray will catch that powder so you can just empty it once a week/month and keep your kitchen counter clean.</p><p>If you have some spare non-slip rubber pads around, you can stick them to the bottom of the tray to prevent it from moving.</p><p>You can remix this using the STEP file in the downloads section or you can directly <a href="https://cad.onshape.com/documents/e2d0c3c0b687539db7ca34d7/w/8b6672b07cab284964b95186/e/078afbd4164e95521a51785f">edit it in Onshape</a>.</p><h3>Features</h3><ul><li>Designed so that the grinder doesn't slide around inside the tray</li><li>Slot for the power cord</li><li>"Front yard" big enough to remove and insert the container comfortably</li></ul><figure class="image"><img src="https://cdn.thingiverse.com/assets/b6/75/a2/cf/f2/large_display_Delonghi_KG79_Tray_Render.png" alt="rendered image"></figure><h3>Slicing</h3><p>Use what ever layer height you like. The finer you go the less coffee powder will make it in between the layers. 2 perimeters and 10% infill is plenty. It's a light-duty item.</p><p>This is a rather large print. It comfortably fits on a 300x300mm bed and by rotating it you can just about fit it on a Prusa MK3. To fit it on an Ender 3 you would have to modify the firmware and <a href="https://all3dp.com/2/ender-3-bed-size-what-is-it-really">increase the print area to 230mm</a>.</p><p>For smaller beds you can try to split it in half in the slicer and then glue the parts together.</p><figure class="image"><img src="https://cdn.thingiverse.com/assets/29/aa/07/6f/93/large_display_Delonghi_KG79_Tray_Sliced.png" alt="sliced image"></figure>
