I want a very large format Delta Printer. I would like to purchase the Seemecnc Printer but @$4000+ it's out of reach. With tons of parts in stock including Linear Rails from a retired Kossel Build, I decided that I could afford (and it would be more fun) to build a large delta printer of my own. With two Seemecnc printers, it would be advantageous to use interoperable parts where possible. Pictured I reverse engineered delta ball ends, the ball ends are connected to 500mm 10od 8id carbon fiber tubes and glued in with jb weld plastic epoxy. The aluminum effector body is from 713 maker and will allow me to use a duet-e3d effector board. The MGM carrige is from Seemecnc open source SolidWorks file zippered in Fusion 360. These ball arms WERE VERY DIFFICULT TO Design and to print out. It took me 18 iterations in Fusion to get an acceptable product and out of every six I print out perhaps two are usable. TOLERANCES WERE SO TIGHT THAT THIS STL MAY/MAY NOT WORK FOR YOU.
