This is my Delta project. Single E3D type/J-Head or homemade/ hotend - 0.3, 0.4, 0.5 etc mm nozzle, bowden type extruder. 400W PC ATX PSU(Fortron 400PNR in my case). Electronics - Mega2560 + RAMPs 1,4 + Full_Graphic_Smart_LCD_Controller + 4 NEMA 17 motors. Malrin Fimware. Working area with 210x200x4mm glass - cylinder r=83 mm/h~250 mm; Manual control for 40 mm fan for hotend/always ON by default/ and manual control for 30 mm fan duct with potentiometer. Can be used http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1337200 for e3dV5/6 - it will be probably better, than my version for cooling. Voltmeter. Can be used any type of bowden type extruder with offset of 50 mm for mounting holes. Can be used simple 2560 bracket or box for electronics. When using box - put Mega 2560 first, screw it and then the RAMPs pcb. File for laser cutting in AutoCad 2013+ format. Left and Right panels are identical, but if You use left side for electronics and PSU, maybe longer extender cable for LCD controller will be needed. Do not build without side panels - it will be unstable. Video - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xW9SEJ_wxPo&feature=youtu.be 26.10.2016 Finally I manage to find ~150 Euros for material and laser cutting. After assembly find some minor errors, so reuploaded LC file with corrections and added .stl file #26, which is additional bracket (u need 6 of these) for better stability of the panels. Still have to read about calibrating dome/plate effects with these deltas ;) Thing is ready. May be will add holder for proximity sensor in the future. 08.11.2016 Still calibrating... Definitely this will be my 1st and last delta printer... Added 3 photos of the completed printer. Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KNYZsMnecfI Print Settings Printer: TRENDi Maker V3 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.1-0.2 Infill: 10-30% Notes: Support is needed only for Delta_14_30mmFanDuctP1.stl; All objects are in proper direction for printing and can be made from ABS or PLA - as You wish. Prefer PLA it is easy for bigger details.
