Delta Wing Race Car

Delta Wing Race Car

Arguably the most interesting, but certainly the most controversial race car design in years. A clean-sheet design that keeps pace with traditional racecars without using wings, a big engine, or even the usual rectangular footprint. Ben Bowlby explains it better than I can: http://youtu.be/c_INdbXMqsw?t=6m37s Instructions Print one body, two front wheels, two rear wheels, two rear wheel spacers, and one steering wheel. The rear wheels should be printed with raft. You'll need 6 pins. The exhaust is kind of a pain to print, you can skip it if you like. The parts are scaled to about 1/20. No longer a work in progress, rear wheels have been redesigned slightly and a right-side mirrored version of the rear wheel spacer has been added. Delta1 is a one-piece version scaled for the build platform of a Cupcake (about 1/50).
