The design of the Deltaprintr means the stepper motors touches the lower surface that the printer is standing on. This is a design for small feet that push-fit onto the ends of the uprights, allowing the Maker to easily stick felt/rubber pads onto the bottom. This has a few added benefits it lifts the printer a little up off the surface so the steppers don't transfer heat to the surface it is standing on it helps baffle the vibration noise of the printer the design of the cut-out keeps the end-stop cables from getting snagged Instructions For easier printing, lie the piece on it's back before slicing. The cable management feature will then be easier and cleaner to print.
