Deluxe Thumb-sticks for Hubsan Transmitter (FPV)

After getting my Hubsan H107d+, I quickly learned that the transmitter was a bit different from what I am used to flying with. The Thumb-sticks felt too long and had far too much throw to feel like I was in control of the drone. I figured I would print some new sticks based on ones I prefer from other transmitters. The result was a PLA + TPU assembly that came together fast and turned out so much better! Edit Jun 29 2016 - Added Photo/Video and Trim Buttons along with the FreeCAD files. Print 1 video button, print 1 photo button, print 4 trim buttons (one might need to be sanded down). They should all print ok facing up and without supports. I couldn't find the original STLs I used to print my buttons and I am not sure if my FreeCad files are the most current (had a few hard drive failures since then). the photo and video buttons should be a decent fit. I believe all but one of the trim buttons fits well, one I had to sand down ALOT because of a capacitor on the flight board that was in the way. Feel free to remix or modify from the source FreeCAD files if you wish. I'd like to see what other come up with! Print Settings Printer Brand: SeeMeCNC Printer: Rostock MAX Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2 mm Infill: 80%-100% Notes: Print slow and make sure the part gets enough cooling! The covers have a VERY tight fit, you will need to make sure you print with something flexible like TPU or Ninja Flex. Make sure you print a solid strong part! You don't want this stick breaking off in the transmitter! Post-Printing Post Processing You should only need to put the new stick into the flexible cover. You will probably need a small flat screwdriver for eye glasses or jewelry to get the thing in there. Once the cover is on the stick, you should be able to snugly insert the stick into the transmitter. How I Designed This FreeCAD I built all the parts from scratch using FreeCAD and some calipers. I took the measurements off the sticks that come with the transmitter and played around with tolerances for a few prints until I got it just about perfect. Your mileage may vary.
