I first have to say that I love the model from the original designer. He did a fantastic job doing most of the leg work for this model. I printed it out and ran into some issues. Because of the complex nature of 3D printing, I believe that nothing should have supports. It shows a lack of creativity in design. (Unless you are going for realism) I also found that the model lacked the ergonomics that a prop of this design might have. So I hopped onto Fusion 360 and did my best to make the model printable without supports and to make it more printable for machines of a lower quality... and I had fun making a cool looking render. :) I did this with a few extrusions and a ton of fillets. UPDATE 2/22/17 After a trial print, there was not enough tolerance between the barrel and trigger assembly, no rear sight, and no trigger New fixed .stl files are added. Plus a new render! WARNING THIS IS A NON-FUNCTIONING PROP NOT FOR USE AS A WEAPON Post-Printing Assembly Tips This prop takes 3 M3 (1x ~5 mm and 2x 10 mm) screws to assemble and a bit of hot glue or any bonding material for the grip panels Two M3 screws help mate the trigger housing to the grip and one M3 screw helps mate the trigger to the trigger housing (optional, hot glue works too)
