This is a simple set of instructions for how to reproduce the dividers I have built to organize my Descent Legends of the Dark game. This is a slight remix of the work initially done by dukefanblue2005, my hope is twofold. First, the initial post provides the pictures and idea but lacks any specific details for anything other than the gum containers. Second, is the initial gum container labels while a fantastic idea and great work contained stretched images, and paint color mismatches. This is not a condemnation of the original files (they are still fantastic and superior to mine in a few ways) but my OCD would not allow me to use them without fixing the issues. As I do not have access to the original files I recreated it instead with my own twist.

The specific goals of this document are to provide a list of other containers that were created (foamboard and 3d printed) providing dimensions and quantity required to fully recreate my setup. I will organize these notes by box, and then add my initial observations, and changelog update underneath that.

Bottom Box

I have the rulebooks (casual name referring to the provided game inset books) laying on top of a custom created tile holder box. This tile holder box is a foam core + duct tape box with the dimensions of 28.5cm x 28cm x 3.5cm (width x depth x height). The actual dimensions of the box inset are a 28.5cm x 28.5cm but due to the added handles and to facilitate air escape when inserting and removing the inset I recommend at least one side being reduced to 28cm (if you choose to do both that should also work fine).

The second tray uses the cardboard inset as base organizer, but proceeds to use some custom made 3d printed trays. Print in the following quantities:
* 6x Token Tray 1
* 1x Token Tray Double
* 2x Dice&ModTray
* 1x LifeTokenTrackerTray

Below the cardboard second tray I am still using the default provided model holders. I looked at the foam organizer, and into making my own. Ultimately, I do not currently see a need for it, I will update this if this opinion changes.

Bottom Box

On opening the bottom box, there are two custom made foam core inserts.

The smaller insert is 24.3cm x 10.9cm x 3.2cm (width x depth x height) and holds the small columns, the cauldron, the treasure chests, the sacrificial tables, the tavern tables, and the pulpit. This requires some creative stacking, and taking advantage of the fact that they are cardboard not full 3d objects (not sure if this would fit any of the 3d printed full terrain sets).

The larger insert is 24.3cm x13.8cm x 11.5cm this holds pretty much everything else with one caveat, the dragon skeleton is broken into 3 pieces (arms, vertebra, skull) in order to fit properly.

Next to the larger insert and below the smaller insert there are 10 gum containers that hold the cards for the game. Check out this post for an idea of how this should all be setup.

The basic instructions are print one of each file. Then print a second copy of the dividers file (you need a total of 6).

I chose to laminate mine, this caused the little flap that covers the front opening part of the lid to always be in the way. Because of this I cut off that section of the gum container labels, however as that may not be necessary if you do not laminate the insert I have left it on the pdf files, just know you may wish to cut this section off.

My observations so far:

The first and most noticeable thing is the font I choose to use for the gum container top spine does not bold. It is a good looking font, but for those seeking to read the contents of the box from the gum container spine may find it difficult to read through the plastic.

Special Thanks:

Thanks to dukefanblue2005 for the initial idea in this post.
