Desert Eagle

The desert eagle! One of my favorite handguns that I decided to model. This was a little side project I decided to embark on after a certain character model decided to give me a bunch of grief. I had a lot of fun making this although I will be the first to admit that I underestimated how difficult it would be. Originally I had a poly count of 2.6K and tried to bake on the divots on the top side of the gun but that gave me more grief than it was worth. Nonetheless I’m pretty happy with the topo and the texturing, this was a really fun challenge!
