This is the functioning first draft of a "sealed" desiccant dry spool holder for t slot and v slot extrusion frame printers. Modeled hastily, but does the job for now. I'll update if I make modifications. STEP assembly file is provided if you'd like to remix. Based on Sterilite 4.7qt/4.4l UltraSeal food storage container, sourced at WalMart, UPC: 073149394866 Print the grommet from TPU (Ninjaflex etc), and the other parts from your favorite filament with good strength. I used 40% infill for all parts. Drill mounting holes in the contiainer using the parts as a guide, and seal the assembly with silicone, etc if desired. The filament feed tube is not modified, so a slight amount of moisture will ingress through it, though it's not likely to be much. Tuck desiccant packet(s) into the core, preferably with color indicating beads. I wrapped up a load of blue-red silica beads in wire screen so that it can be easily removed and baked to regenerate when the beads turn red.
