If you’re like me, you spend a good portion of your day at a computer desk. Whether you’re a Gamer, Graphic Artist, or cubicle jockey, one of the hardest things to combat is desk clutter. Pens, paper, games, and cables are helplessly thrown across your workspace making it hard to not only find what you need, but also to keep things tidy. While there are many solutions for cable clutter, such as the IKEA Signum, It’s much harder to find a cheap, high quality, low profile hanger to keep those $200 Earphones. The EarWigg hanger cost very little to produce as it uses a durable ABS plastic with a PVC wrapped cushion to provide a sturdy hanger for even those embarrassing Fostex RP 50’s. The mounting solution is a clamp type system that uses a square head bolt with a padded piston to hold securely on any desk without scarring, marking, or pitting. It features a swiveling base which allows it to be mounted on at any angle. An adhesive backed suede cutout will be used as a protectant to the clamp location. While other similar hangers exist, most use a flat screw design that easily strips, or do not provide a soft surface for your expensive studio grade headphones.
