Desk Lamp Base Clamp

Replacement for the flimsy clamp base that comes with many swing-arm style desk lamps. Instructions Throw away your flimsy clamp base but save all other parts. Print part with reasonable fill since it will experience a fair amount of force (I used 40% fill with 3 perimeters). Glue thin (1/16" or so) neoprene foam to bottom of base to keep it from sliding. Attach parts saved from step 1 to base, install clamp onto desk, and install lamp onto clamp. Enjoy your beefy new desk lamp clamp base. Included FreeCAD file to make derivatives easier. The hole sizes, in particular, may need to be adjusted to fit your hardware.
