Desk Lamp Clamp

Desk Lamp Clamp

Desk lamp upgrade. My very poorly designed desk lamp I got for free when I ordered some things, got an upgrade. The Foot piece is lighter then the head piece so it stands on a desk like a huge headed baby can stand on the ground. I decided to fit a clamp on to it mimicking the clothespin and "borrowing" their compression springs. I was satisfied with the spring force in the clothespin but my lamp foot was twice as long. To compensate for this moment arm I use two springs in parallel which doubles the spring force. The first clamp piece is glued on. The screws and batteries are still accessible. The second claim piece is connected by the pin joint, also 3D printed. I included a pin STL with a custom brim so you can print all part at once on Cura.
