I've created a 3D model on previous occasions. To conserve polygons, I employed smoothing groups exclusively, eliminating the need for any smoothing modifiers in the process. This results in an extremely editable model with detached components, allowing you to modify it freely if desired. The renders were produced using Vray, combining a Vraysun lighting setup with an HDRI environment map.
