This compact phone and stationery organizer is intended to assist in our virtual learning experience. Since we use video chatting to attend class and connect with others, the phone stand in the middle is perfect to prop up your phone. There is an opening in the stand so you are able to charge your phone as well. The stand extends further out than the rest of the object, allowing you to have your phone sideways, or place a tablet. An issue while creating the 3D model is that I was unable to fillet a certain edge on the right compartment, but it worked on the left compartment. These two compartments are identical, so I was stumped as to why it did not work. For the sake of symmetry, I left those two edges with no fillet. If I could redesign this again, I would extend the stand a bit further out. This would make it more stable if a large tablet were to be placed there. 3D printing helps strengthen my design by helping me realistically visualize what my design looks like. It is an easy and cost-effective way to make an object.
