This desktop model of a Carbon Arc Searchlight was based on the 80 inch Carbon Arc searchlight built in 1903 by GE. This model is massive. The Searchlight body is 80mm deep by 157.5mm across. When fully assembled the model is 210mm tall with functioning pivot for aiming the light output. This Model can be printed on any 3D printer with a 200mm x 200mm x 150 mm print envelope and has been optimized to ensure each part requires minimal or no support when oriented correctly on the bed. In the design phase, we focused on creating a usable and highly printable model that would be hardware free (lighting components excluded) so aside from some light gluing, you shouldn't need anything else to assemble your model. The included instructions also contain links to the LED components we sourced through Amazon NOTE: This item does not include any logo files. If you wish to add logos to the searchlight, you will need to source them on your own as we cannot offer items protected under copyright. Please see the attached instruction sheet before printing.
