This is a self-sustained fishbowl aquaponics. It separates the roots of your plant and the growing medium from the fishbowl. This creation spawned as result of a solution for my fiance's project. The growing chamber located above the the fishbowl (based on a standard fishbowl purchased form Wal-Mart),, is isolated from the aquatic environment below. This allows for the root zone to grow to its full potential without inhibiting the life below. The plant acts as a natural filter feeding off the waste of the fish and the fish acts as a natural fertilizer. This symbiotic relationship provides for convenience maintenance of the life above and below the water line. Aerated water is supplemented to the root chamber through means of airlift pump, thus both oxygenating the water and separating air bubbles from the aquatic environment. This allows for the user to have a greater option of fish that prefer still water, for example: Beta Fish and Gold Fish. This item is released for means of beta testing. Feel free to iterate and provide feedback as necessary. This item is Patent Pending, the manufacturing, distribution and/ or retail of the " Desktop Fishbowl Aquaponics," is unlawful.
