My second try with the DesktopHero 3D Beta. More info on DesktopHero :https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/263291121/desktophero-free-3d-printable-character-makerhttps://www.facebook.com/desktophero3D DesktopHero is a wonderful open-source tool funded via Kickstarter and currently developed by Andrew Stockton (http://www.thingiverse.com/stockto/). The current assets are designed by Arian Croft(http://www.thingiverse.com/dutchmogul) which explain the sturdy (easier to print) and beautiful look ! You can find other proxies for Dungeon Twister here : http://www.thingiverse.com/agademer/collections/dungeon-twister Print Settings Printer Brand: Ultimaker Printer: Ultimaker 2 Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.25mm Notes: The support were not easy to break but the mini is sturdy and would not break in the process. The point of the sword is moving (a bit) but would not break. How I Designed This DesktopHero allows you to choose the different parts (bone groups) to select the associated 3D models (assets) and modify the pose of every parts in a really simple way ! See this video : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SuU3SMfWgnE&t=16s It is a great tool and I enjoin you to test it. Andrew allow an access to the Beta for people giving donation : https://www.facebook.com/desktophero3D For this model, I had to play a little more with the personalization of the assets position rotation. It took me a little time to get all the keyboard shortcuts : Q : Enter edit mode Right click : select the bone R then X/Y/Z : Rotate around the X/Y/Z axis G then X/Y/Z : Translate around the X/Y/Z axis S : Uniform scaling S then X/Y/Z : Scale in the direction on X/Y/Z axis. Mouse move : Quantity of effect Left click : Validate / Right click : cancel
