This is a quick change clip for the pedometer provided by Global Fit's Destination:You program. Unfortunately, Global Fit's programs are only available to eligible members... from their website, "You are eligible only if your Employer, Insurance Provider, or Membership Group sponsors the GlobalFit benefit." ( http://www.globalfit.com/default.asp ) I'm posting this in case anyone else is eligible, to make sure it gets released with the right license, so I can share the design with the company and program managers. I also worked hard to develop this tab and slot connection method, to make a 100% printable design, and I hope others can learn from and improve the design. These slice and print well raftlessly. If you have difficulties with the Badge Holder or Lace Bootie, try printing these with a raft. I designed the parts for quick printing with a minimum of material and low profile, since the end product rides on top of the shoelaces in your shoe. Mix and match colors for a custom look. For best results, tabs should always be printed horizontally to eliminate stringing and improve precision. Likewise, slots should always be printed with the open side directly against the heated build platform Instructions Print one badge holder. Print one Lace Bootie, Back Clip, and two Lace Clips per shoe. The Lace Bootie or Lace Clips may need to be adjusted for the shoe. The bottom of the lace bootie should fit under the top of the shoe at the tip of the tongue. The Lace Clips need to be short enough to fit between the Lace Bootie and tongue, and with an appropriate sized opening for the shoe laces. Assemble the set by inserting the tabs in the front of the Badge Holder into the holes in the Lace Bootie. The holes in the Lace Bootie might need to be reamed Slide the Back Clip along the dados in the Lace Bootie and clip it into the Badge Holder. Using super glue, two-part plastic epoxy, or hot glue, glue the Back Clip into the Lace Bootie, then glue the two Lace Clips on top of the Lace Bootie. After the glue dries, remove the Badge Holder. Slip your Destination:You tracker into the Badge Holder. Thread your first and second laces (nearest where the tongue meets the shoe - usually one straight lace and one crossed set of laces) into the lace clips. Try to twist them so they attach the Lace Bootie firmly to your shoe, pointed straight forward. Planned for the near future are alternate lace clips for arm and foot band usage.
