Destiny Trespasser Sidearm

Destiny Trespasser Sidearm

This is the exotic sidearm Trespasser from the first Destiny game. The model was pulled directly from destinystlgenerator.com and modified by me so that the parts could be printed and assembled (with your glue of choice). The only part that is designed to move after assembly is the magazine, which can be pulled out and put back in, and is held in with a small bump that has to be aligned with the slot on the inside of the UWTGripR piece. I added connector tabs on the inside of a few pieces so that they could be held together easily while the glue was drying, but these tabs are the same size as the holes they have to fit into. This was not an issue for my Ender 3 Pro but 3D prints are known for changing shape slightly after being fully formed, so you may have to sand down or even whittle down some of those slots so that they may fit. The model also had to be scaled down 80% of the size that it was pulled from the stl generator in order to be the right size for human hands, and fit perfectly in my hand, albeit i am a slightly bigger than average person at 6 foot 6 inch tall. On printing and assembly: The Trespasser I printed used blue PLA from hatchbox at .1mm layer height on my Ender 3 Pro. The only weak part I found was the UWTHousing part which cracked slightly during removal of support due to how thin the part was near the end. I used 5 minute epoxy to put the pieces together, which worked perfectly and has held them together ever since. Side note: This is my first post on thingiverse, and while i have designed and printed other parts in the past this is the first I've shared online. Let me know if there are any problems.
