Want to have a 1:12 film theater in your home? This little guy will get you started off. Well, it's not that small - it's 160mm tall (6.25"). It's inspired by the classic DeVry 10 projector, but not intended to be a perfect replica; I just wanted to capture its retro/art deco style. Designed with Notepad++ and OpenScad on Windows 10. Paint the main components in some cool retro color (I chose chromate green; I don't know what color the originals were, as I could find no color photos); then paint the detail parts in silver (see the photos for reference). I also used a silver Sharpie to do some distressing/weathering. Finally, use cyanoacrylate (superglue) to glue the main body components (the green parts in my photos), but taking care to place film_collar between film and top_segment as shown in the pictures. One that has set, go ahead and glue the little details - you can copy my layout, or get creative.
