dewalt 6" clamp end
thingiverse
I made a clamp end replacement that will suffice for now, despite its appearance. As long as it functions properly, I'm not overly concerned about how it looks. If printed in the orientation I've chosen, the layers will be perpendicular to the applied pressure on the clamp, which should make it quite sturdy - or so I think, since I'm a plumber and not an engineer. However, I haven't actually printed it yet, so only time will tell. UPDATE: After printing it slightly larger than expected due to inaccurate measurements, I cleaned up around the screw and nut slots as they were a tight fit. To my relief, it fits perfectly on the bar and works as intended, so I'm not too worried about its appearance after all.
