I took measurements directly from my Dewalt DWS780 Miter's dust tube. Diameter was about 41.2mm but then there a lip in the middle. After tinkering, I came to 43mm inner diameter for that side and it friction fits nicely. Should work with a DWS779 and may or may not with other dewalt tools.
