DF95 DF65 switch guard

i got tired of accidentally knocking my DF95 and DF65 boat switch to ON and finding my battery was dead on multiple occasions.

To help prevent this, I designed a lockout to keep the switch in the OFF position.

It is a simple print that needs support under the small arm only, depending on how you orient the print. The "tunnel area" that fits over the wire will bridge easily and needs no support.

Make sure to print it in a bright color and tie it to something larger so you can find it in your pocket or laying on the ground.

To use it, point it up on the end and insert the arm into the loop. Then rotate it 90º pushing it down over the wire.

Your fit may be slightly different, but it should work without being forced. You may need to do a bit of filing to get a good fit, but mine fits directly off the printer.

Print Settings

Rafts:

Doesn't Matter

Supports:

Yes

Resolution:

.20-.25 mm

Category: R/C Vehicles
